During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please submit revised plans/documents to a permit coordinator
in the Development Services Department. Thank you.
1.Indicate on the plans that the garage slab slopes to the front of the garage. IRC R309.1
2.Show a handrail on one side of the stairway, meeting the requirements of IRC R311.7.8.
3.Note the dimensions of the treads and risers at the stairs, meeting the requirements of IRC
R311.7.5
4.Include on the plans construction details for the exterior walls. On sheet A-1:
a.The Framing Notes refer to sheet S2 for holddown/shear requirements.
b.The Shear Wall Schedule refers to particular handout details. Please include this
information with your resubmittal.
