During a review of the plans by the Building Division for the above noted project, it was found that
the following information, clarifications, or changes are needed. A complete review cannot be
performed until the revised plans/documents, including a written response indicating where the
clouded or otherwise highlighted changes can be found on the revised plans, have been submitted
to a Permit Coordinator. Reviews by other divisions, such as Planning, Engineering, or Fire, may
result in additional comments.
On page A2:
1.Foundation Plan Clarify the callout for the holdowns T-1 STHD14RJ to be used at
each end of the relocated SW-1 braced wall on the north side of the Family Room. The
foundation appeared to be in place, having been inspected and approved on 11-15-2013
without the holdowns at the locations shown, hindering the use of cast-in-place holdowns.
A post-installed-type of anchorage, specified and installed to meet criteria required by the
engineer of record, might be a viable solution.
