Project Address: 547 Dayton Street
During a review of the plans by the Building Division for the above noted project, it was found that
the following information, clarifications, or changes are needed. A complete review cannot be
performed until the revised plans/documents, including a written response indicating where the
clouded or otherwise highlighted changes can be found on the revised plans, have been submitted
to a Permit Coordinator. Reviews by other divisions, such as Planning, Engineering, or Fire, may
result in additional comments. Items that recur on this list appear in italics.
On sheet A-1:
1.Occupancy
a)Identify as an A-3 the portion of the structure to be used as a Meeting Room per
IBC 303. The area has an occupant load of more than 50 persons and is greater than
750 square feet in area, disallowing its classification as a B occupancy per IBC
Section 303.1.1 and Section 303.1.2.
On sheet A-3:
2.New First Floor Plan
a)Clarify the difference in the size of the Sprinkler Riser Room shown and of that
represented on sheet A-2. If no work is being done in the area, the plans should
consistently reflect the area as represented in the Existing Plan on sheet A-2.
b)Clarify the difference in the location of the exterior door next to the trash enclosure,
the orientation of the stairs next to Exist Books., the doors in the east wall of Exist.
Books, and the location of the door in the south wall of Exist. Books, and of that
represented in those areas on sheet A-2. If no work is being done in those areas, the
plans should consistently reflect those areas as represented in the Existing Plan on
sheet A-2.
