Project Address: 21900 Highway 99
During a review of the plans by the Building Division for the above noted project, it was found that
the following information, clarifications, or changes are needed. A complete review cannot be
performed until the revised plans/documents, including a written response indicating where the
clouded or otherwise highlighted changes can be found on the revised plans, have been submitted
to a Permit Coordinator. Reviews by other divisions, such as Planning, Engineering, or Fire, may
result in additional comments.
On sheet 1:
1.Floor Plan
a.Indicate on the plans the means to be used to provide an accessible sales and service
counter per ICC A117.1-2009 section 904.3. The accessible counter must be 36
maximum in height above the floor, 36 minimum in length for parallel approach or
30 minimum in length for forward approach, and shall extend the same depth as the
sales and service countertop. A clear floor space per Section 305 must be provided
for the selected approach.
b.Indicate on the plans the height of the self-supporting, free-standing fixtures to
guide proper review of attachment, if required. The following information is the
criteria used to determine the attachment requirements:
Free-standing fixtures 5 9 to 8 0
Anchors required at all four corners

No specific detail/engineering required for attachment

Building Inspector to verify attachment
·
Free-standing fixtures greater than 8 0
Engineering required for anchorage and fixtures

Fixture details and connections shown on plans
·
Special inspection typically required to verify attachment
