They appear to have been prepared/stamped/signed by a different registered design
professional – Lyle A. Bremmeyer - than that established as the ‘design professional in
responsible charge’ per IBC 107.3.4. Specific requirements regarding the submission of
documents prepared by another architect are established in Chapter 18.08 of the Revised
Code of Washington (RCW). Provide a letter to the Building Official indicating the status
of the designated ‘design professional in responsible charge’ per IBC 107.3.4. An
acceptable alternative may be the provision of a letter prepared by the current ‘design
professional in responsible charge’ – Richard Swanson – acknowledging the sheets prepared
by Lyle A Bremmeyer are to be considered as ‘of-his-own-hand’.
