During review of the plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following information,
clarifications or changes are needed. Please provide written responses as to where the changes can be found
on the plans, and submit revised plans/documents to a permit coordinator in the Development Services
Department. Thank you.
1.Please show the square footage of the space on the plans. This is used for calculating occupant load,
etc.
2.Show the occupant load on the plans. The occupant load should be calculated using the following
square footage factors depending on use of the space, per IBC Table 1004.1.2:
a.Kitchen and service area: 200sf/person.
b.Dining area with tables and chairs: 15sf/person.
c.Waiting/queueing area: 7sf/person.
3.Show an accessible portion of the customer service counter with a maximum height of 36 inches. ICC

4.Change the notes at the front of the space from New 3/0 Door to Existing 3/0 Door.
5.For lighting, please complete and provide the Interior Lighting Summary energy form found on
neec.net/energy codes.
