A complete review cannot be performed until the revised plans/documents, including a written response indicating where the ‘clouded’ or otherwise highlighted changes can be found on the revised plans, have been submitted to a Permit Coordinator. Reviews by other divisions, such as Planning, Engineering, or Fire, may result in additional comments. On sheet 6 – Proposed Covered Walkway: 1.Indicate on the plans the size, species, and grade of the minimum beam required to support the roof rafters over the ‘Covered Walkway’ to guide proper review, construction, and inspection. 2.Indicate on the plans the proposed post/beam connections for the ‘Covered Walkway’ to resist lateral loads per International Residential Code (IRC) R301.1. 3.Indicate on the plans the proposed post base connections for the ‘Covered Walkway’ to resist lateral loads per International Residential Code (IRC) R301.1. On sheet 7 – Roof Framing: 4.Indicate on the plans the distance the beams extend beyond the posts at each end of the ‘Covered Walkway’. The drawing submitted does not appear to be at the scale indicated.
