One Amalgam Separator with no power, uses gravity feed to take out heavy particulates from vacuum line liquids before they go down the drain. No fire rated separation needed at mechanical. 11. Sht A3.0 DOOR SCHEDULE Clarify requirements for "overhead stop arm set to 105 degrees F."for DOOR 12. Response: The door has a stop arm that will stop it open beyond the 90 degree angle mark, so easier to get into Mechanical Room. The degrees is for the angle, not for temperature. 12. Sht A3.0 If door is intended to remain open during operation is IBC 716.5.9.2 for opening protectives more appropriate and connected to building fire alarm? Response: IBC 716.5.9.2 Pertains to automatic closing fire door assemblies. No fire rated separation is required here. This is not an automatic fire door assembly, just a door with a simple hold -open device, so that if the Dr. wants to have a partial visual barrier from check-out, he can close the door, or keep it open when he doesn't need the visual separation. For both situations there is an exit sign at its location on the OPEN BAY side. 13. Sht A3.0 DOOR 12 is 3'0" in a 4'0" hallway, show how this meets IFC 1005.7.1. Response: Sheet A 3.0 — this door is for a non -occupied space. Moved door into OFFICE 2, so that it is no longer opening into the path of egress. 14. Rotate EXIT sign fixture 90 degrees perpendicular to the approaching path for egress at DOOR Response: Sheet A 4.0 — rotated exit sign at DOOR 17 90 degrees.
