Subject: Response to City Review Letter dated September 11, 2015 from Jennifer Lambert
Reference: Classico Homes — 530 7`h Ave. S. East Lot
Revised Civil drawings dated 9-14-15 have been prepared by this Engineer in response to review
comments received from the City. Below is response to the review comments received from the City of Edmonds
per the above subject letters.
GENERAL:
1. Existing dry utilities and sewer & water installed as part of the plat have been "grayed -out."
EROSION CONTROL:
2. A note has been added that a silt fence will be installed as needed per Edmonds Standard Detail ELI
WATER:
3. The pipe material for the later line from the meter to the house has been labeled as HDPE PEX.
SEWER:
4. Lamphole cover for the existing sanitary sewer clean-out at the property line has been noted on the plans
STORM:
5. The landing from the garage to the front door now has a leader line to it.
6. Flow arrows on the driveway pavements areas are now shown on the Strom Plan.
7. Sheet 4 has been added with the Landscape Block Section Detail "A -A" at a 1" = 5' scale and distances
from bottom of landscape block wall to existing 6" pvc pipe are shown.
8. Attached is a cut sheet for Keystone Block Wall. The Compac Unit is 85 lb/cf. The weight of soil is 125
lb/cf. The weight of the block wall is less than soil, and thus it is standard engineering reasoning that the
existing 6" pvc pipe with the block wall crossings is capable of withstanding the load of the 4 -foot high
landscaping block walls
