OF EDMOND,

0 Corridors outside of project suite (surrounding project suite) are rated because they are B -occupancy
corridors that serve occupant loads greater than 30 in an unsprinklered building — they serve multiple suites
with multiple tenants. The corridors within the project suite simply allow exit access — serving no more than
17 occupants due to paths of egress travel (see revised Life Safety Plan A0.21 indicating the maximum
number of occupants that would be directed to exit through any corridor).
The two corridors within suite 240 have been labeled CORRIDOR on the Life Safety Plan A0.21.

• Sheet A0.21 indicates 4 fire extinguishers approximately equally spaced throughout the project. The legend
now identifies these as 2A:10B:C type. The floor plan has been updated to also indicate these.

Doors 200, 201A, and 203A have been reversed to swing in the direction of exit. Note that doors 201A and
203A serve only 17 and 6 occupants respectively, but that changing the swing is easily accomplished. Note
also that the occupant load has been recalculated at 63, but that this recalculation is not used to benefit any
aspect of exiting — the reduction of 7 occupants has not changed any of our calculations or responses

Jeanelle,
I spoke to John Westfall Fire Marshall regarding Comment # 11 and Comment # 12. Comment # 11,
we have revised the Legend to provide clarity on the emergency lighting battery ballast. Comment
# 12 we only have to show the emergency lighting within clinic renovation area and do not have to
show the emergency egress lighting outside of the client renovation space.
Comment #11: Sheet E2.02 Callout Legend identifying fixtures are provided with emergency
pathway function throughout Assembly and Corridors.
Response: Fixture Callout revised to < XXE > to include "E" designation which denotes that fixtures as
an integral battery back-up as descripted within the Lighting Fixture Schedule. We have revised
electrical sheet E1.00 Legend and Abbreviations to reflect the "E" designation Fixture Callout.
Comment #12. Sheet E2.03 See Fire Alarm plans for approved fire alarm system details and location.
Response: Concur, Specification Section 283111 Fire Alarm 1.06 D requires approved shop drawings.
If you should have any questions or comments, please respond.
Thanks
