On sheet A3 Foundation Plan
1.Foundation
a.Indicate on the plans the required framing members to support the south interior
bearing wall of the Laundry represented on sheets A4 Main Floor Plan and
A5 Upper Floor Framing Plan.
b.Clarify the callout for the typical 24x24 isolated footings below the south-most
portion of the east Kitchen wall. They appear to be undersized for the loads
anticipated by the represented construction. The loads below the west ends of the
upper floor framing and roof framing girder trusses do not appear to have been
accounted for.
On sheet A6 Upper Floor Plan
1.Upper Floor Plan Clarify the placement of the holddowns and portions of the shearwalls
that extend into the upper floor stairway opening. The design does not appear to be in
accordance with accepted engineering practices.
