Division for compliance with the applicable building codes, it was found that the following

A complete review cannot be performed until the revised plans/documents, including a
written response indicating where the clouded or otherwise highlighted changes can be
found on the revised plans, have been submitted to a Permit Coordinator.

Resubmittals must be made at the Development Services Department on the 2
Floor of City
Hall. Permit Center hours are M, T, Th, & F from 8am-4:30pm. The Permit Center is closed
on Wednesdays.
General Review Note:
1.Provide a completed page 4 of the Seismic Analysis included in the submitted Beam,
Lateral, and Seismic Calculations to guide proper review. The Wall Height, Overturning
Force, and Hold-down Reqd information appears to be missing.
On sheet A1:
2.2012 WSEC Notes Ventilation Change the code section references for the type of system
and the sizing of the fan to be used to provide whole house ventilation from M1508.3,
Table M1508.2, and Table M1508.3 to M1507.3.4, Table M1507.3.3(1), and Table
1507.3.3(2) per the 2012 International Residential Code (IRC) (and soon, the 2015 IRC).
On sheet A5:
3.Main Floor Plan
a.Indicate on the plans the minimum required post below each end of beam RB-4
5-1/8x9 GLB over the sliding glass door in the south wall of the Kitchen. A
single 2x6 does not appear to provide the bearing area required for the loads noted in
the provided structural calculations and a general note requiring a minimum, such as
(2)2x6 below each end of all beams, could not be found.
b.Indicate on the plans the minimum required post below each end of beam RB-6
3-1/8x9 GLB over the window in the north wall of the Foyer.
