During a review of the plans by the Building Division for the above noted project, it was found that
the following information, clarifications, or changes are needed. A complete review cannot be
performed until the revised plans/documents, including a written response indicating where the
`clouded' or otherwise highlighted changes can be found on the revised plans, have been submitted
to a Permit Coordinator. Reviews by other divisions, such as Planning, Engineering, or Fire, may
result in additional comments.
Sheet A3
Per the method of compliance with WSEC R402.6 listed on sheet Al, all floors shall be
insulated to R-38. There are conflicting notes regarding insulation in Section 2/A3. Please
remove the note regarding R-30 insulation. Note at detauu 2.-A3 regarding R� 30 has been chnann0ed to R-38.
Sheet A5
2. Conflicting information can be found regarding the beam call -out between Section 5 and the
Roof Framing Plan. The section view specifies a 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" PSL. The framing plan
shows (2) 1-3/4" x 5-1/2" LVL. Please reconcile these two specifications with the
engineering calculations which calls for '(2) 1-3/4" x 5-1/2" PSL 2.OE.
3. The beam to beam connections above the Bathroom specifies `Hanger Per Engineer',
however no specification could be found. Please provide this specification on the plans.
Also specify the hanger to be used from the existing beam to the new GLB.
4. Provide connection details for the top end of the new rafters to be installed above both areas
where new rafters are to be installed. hDetaR 6-A5 Inas been added to plan. Also h..N2,5A°s at
each matter have been gadded at wall coonecdon.
