On Saturday, issues came to light where we have been informed by one of our subcontractors that he is abandoning our project and is not coming back to my home to complete scheduled work. As I mentioned in my previous email, communication has been lacking between my and the contractor of record on my home, Mr. Larry Throndsen. Due to those circumstances above and several other items all related to this construction project, my attorney has advised me to obtain services of a different contractor to finish our home remodel. As of this email, we have done so. By email I am informing Mr. Throndsen that he is no longer to be our contractor. Mr. Drew Langland is our new contractor. Drew indicates he will be calling the Permit department early in the week to establish where things stand for our home. I'm not sure if your office is concerned with any of the above, I just wanted you to know what we are working with and we are trying to make sure we remain compliant with all legalities related to our remodel. Thank you. Michael O'Neil On Sat, Mar 12, 2016 at 8:42 AM, Mike O'Neil <rnikeonei14 g c mw corn> wrote:. Hi Ms. Johns, received the attach notice from your department. Foremost, I would like to be in compliance with all and any requirements. However, I am not a general contractor nor the contractor for my house remodel. Mr. Larry Throndsen from Golden T construction is the listed contractor for this project. I am at a loss as to why this project has extended as long as it has and Mr. Throndsen has not given me a schedule for completion. I am also not aware of the last inspection that was performed. Our walls are closed and most plumbing and electrical items have been installed. I was under the impression we were "square" with the city. I did have strong feeling we were at a year in this project but also was not aware of permit expiration. I am writing to address the letter and to tell you that with previous plans my wife and i will be out of town all of the next week, March 14-18. 1 didn't want you to think I was ignoring your notice. However, since Mr. Throndsen is the contractor, wouldn't it be more appropriate for him to receive this notice? He knows how much work we have remaining and therefore would be the appropriate one to set completion inspections, etc. look to your comment and if need, course, Mr. Throndsen has acted. Thank you for your help. Michael O'Neil will be in contact after our return from out of town. Unless of
