4. The applicant wants to install electric tankless water heaters in each unit that will
supply hot water for the hydronic heaters noted on the plans and potable water
for bathing. The applicants contractor has installed this system before and can
provide documentation on the requirements for this type of heating system

The floor assembly we are using from the Gypsum Association Manual was tested
with 401b carpet and pad. We are using carpet in the bedrooms and laminate
wood flooring and tile in the kitchen, great room, and bath areas. The fire rating
was done according to the manual with no flooring. The sound test was done by
using carpet. We are choosing this assembly for its one hour fire rating which is
required by code
