for the purposes of obtaining a building permit. During a review of the plans by the Building
Division for compliance with the applicable building codes, it was found that the following

A complete review cannot be performed until the revised plans/documents, including a
written response in itemized letter format indicating where the clouded or otherwise

Coordinator.

appliances or a separate removal system are acceptable alternatives that must be
noted on the plans. Spaces containing cooking appliances without Type II hoods
shall be provided with exhaust at a rate of 0.70 CFM per square foot.
b.Clarify on the plans the difference in the number of CanPlas Grease Trap Mark
42 to be installed and of that represented on the plumbing plans/line drawings
dated August 12, 2016.

proper review, construction, and inspection and to accurately determine the permit
fees to be assessed for the permitted work.
b.Clearly indicate on the plans the City of Edmonds Pretreatment Technician
requirement that the pre-wash sink (the location where the soiled dishes are rinsed
prior to being placed in the dish machine/dishwasher) must drain to a grease trap.
