Deferred submittal —Fire Alarm Modification, Emergency Voice Communications System. TGB Response: Fire alarm modifications are included in Contractor work and will be deferred submittals by the subcontractor. This review and response will be included in documents provided to the Contractor. Note that the existing fire alarm system includes manual pull stations adjacent to exit doors. 2. Fire alarm must be operational during construction. When system is not functioning because of relocation, a fire watch will be required. Fire watch requirements are attached. TGB Response: This review and response will be included in documents provided to the Contractor. The note above has been added to A2.01 Demolition plan. 3. Provide panic hardware on doors from worship center to lobby. TGB Response: The existing doors from worship center to the lobby (Foyer) will remain. Panic hardware has been confirmed on site and a note is added on sheet A0.21 Life Safety plan. 4. Plan legend shows fire rated assemblies, yet none are noted on plans. Please clarify. TGB Response: On sheet A0.21 Life Safety plans the legend and Life Safety Plans have graphic symbols added to fire rated wall assemblies adjacent to corridors and wall tags are added to Page i of 2 425.778.1530 21911 76" Ave W. Suite 210 Edmonds, WA 98026 5. Clarify occupant load in lobby? TGB Response: The occupant load in the lobby (Foyer) is the based on occupants loads from the Worship Center and 2"d floor. This total is OL=200. Note that occupant loads are edited from the previous submittal based on adjusted platform size. These changes are clouded on sheet A0.21 Life Safety Plan. There are (3) exit doorways. We have indicated half of the load to the (2) pairs of doors at the main entrance, as this is the most visible and direct route. There is also an exit door from the corridor adjacent to the kitchen. Calculating the Foyer as OLF=S per IBC Table 1004.1.2, the OL=225. The exit capacity of each exit door exceeds minimum width per IBC 1005.3.2. If you have any questions or need additional information, please call or email. Thank you.
