The condition of the soil unit at bottom of trenches should be verified by a Geotechnical Engineer during construction, and to determine whether the soil suitability criteria for infiltration treatment are met. Applicable criteria has been documented. If the soils do not meet the soil suitability criteria, a minimum depth of 18 inches existing soil shall be replaced with engineered soils that will meet the criteria. 2. Both infiltration trenches (#1 and #12) are now capable to fully infiltrate the roof runoff. 3. The default value of 0.33 in WWHM3 was used. 4. The information at the bottom of the page has been deleted. 5. The depths to reach the underlying outwash layer are varied (5.5' at TP-1 and 7.0' at TP- 3). "Geotechnical Investigation" prepared by Liu & Associates, Inc., dated June 15, 2015, recommended trenches should be cut at least one foot into the targeted advance outwash layer, which resulted in excavation to about 6.5' and 8.0' deep or more at TP-1, and TP-3 respectively. The Geotechnical Report prepared by GEO Group Northwest, Inc., dated December 1, 2015, was to review the Liu and Associates report, confirm soil conditions at the proposed infiltration system location, and evaluate the proposed infiltration system prepared by Lovell-Sauerland & Associates, Inc. Additional test pits were performed on September 26, 2016. The bottom of the infiltration trenches are revised to elevations which would be deep enough to reach the underlying outwash layer. 6. Infiltration trench lengths for #5 and #8 have been revised. 7. As stated in "Geotechnical Investigation" prepared by Liu & Associates, Inc., dated June 15, 2015, page 5 , bottom paragraph "Both Test Pits 1 and 3, located on the east side of the site, ......", TP-2 as shown in Plate 2 should read as TP-3. 8. See "Responses to City of Edmonds 7/26/2016 Review Comments" prepared by Liu & Associates, Inc., dated November 12, 2016. (End of Appendix B in the revised Drainage Report). 9. Three addition test pits were performed on September 26, 2016. 10. WWHM Project Reports are included at end of each infiltration trench design in Section C 11...
