The following items shall apply to the proposed construction in accordance with the
Kennewick Municipal code and the 2015 International Building, Fire and other adopted
codes.
1. Deferred (sic) Submittals — Indicate on the plans the required submittal of construction
documents for the proposed installation of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems
under separate permits. While the Washington State Department of Labor of Industries
has regulatory oversight of the electrical system installation, the means of compliance of
the system and its components with the applicable provisions of the Washington State
Energy Code (WSEC) must be represented on the plans per WSEC C103.2 — see also
review note 8.

2. Wall Types — Wall Type 'B' — 1 Hr. Wall — Provide on the plans the required installation
criteria of the fasteners (type, diameter, length, head, spacing, etc.) used to attach the
gypsum wallboard per the referenced fire -resistance rated wall assembly to guide proper
construction and inspection.

3. Ramps —
a. In the note regarding the slope of ramp landings change on the plans the maximum
slope from `1 /58' to `1 /48'.
b. In the note regarding the counter slope of curb ramps change on the plans the
maximum slope from '1/30' to '1/20'.
4. Detail 1 — Typ A.D.A. Restroom Plan —Hardware General Notes
a. Note 1 — Eliminate, or update to reflect that applicable to this project, the referenced
code sections on the plans regarding door -opening force.

7. Equipment Placement Floor Plan - Indicate cn the plans any shelving/racks that
exceed 6 feet in height. They must be seismically anchored per American Society of Civil
Engineers (ASCE) chapter 15.
On sheet A-121 — Reflected Ceiling (sic) and Lighting Plan:
8. Reflected Lighting Plan - Provide as part of a complete permit application submittal
2015 Washington State Energy Code (WSEC) 'Compliance Forms for Commercial
Buildings including R2, R3, R4 over 3 stories and all R1' as required for the selections
noted on the 'Interior and Exterior Lighting Alterations' section of the WSEC Lighting
Summary — LTGSUM. The completed forms must include 'LTG-INT-SPACE', 'LTG-INT-
BLD', and 'LTG-CHK', as applicable, at a minimum to support the proposed lighting
installation. Specific attention needs to be given to the proposed track -lighting in the
'Beverage Area' per WSEC C405.4.1, form 'LTG-INT-SPACE' Note 7, and form 'LTG-
INT-BLD' Note 6.

9. RCP Legend — In the note regarding the exterior landing emergency lighting change
on the plans the referenced code section from `1006.3' to '1008.3.2'.
On sheet A-602 — Door & Window Schedule:
10. Door Schedule — Frames — Type — Clarify on the plans the door frame type callouts
for the following 'marked' doors: 102 —103 —104 - 105
They do not appear to reflect that suggested by the indicated frame material and
referenced in detail '2/A-602'.
