CONDITIONS
• The proposal will not unreasonably interfere with the rights ofthe public.
• Safe Pedestrian travel area, or clear zone, of 5-foot minimum°width, providing'a level safe walking surface along the public
sidewalk, shall be maintained. (e.g. measuring 5-feet from edge of street tree grates or newspaper stands toward place of
business.)
• Reflective cones to be placed on both sides of the POD.
• Applicant shall repair/replace all damage to utilities or frontage improvements in City right-of-way per City standards that is
caused by or occurs during the permitted project.
• Applicant, on behalf of his or her spouse, heirs, assigns, and successors in interests, agrees to indemnify defend and hold
ham>>ess the City of Edmonds, Washington, its officials, employees, and agents from any and all claims for damages of whatever
nature, arising directly or indirectly from the issuance of this permit. Issuance of this permit shall not be deemed to modify, waive
or reduce any requirements of any City ordinance not limit in any way the City's ability to enforce any ordinance provision.
This Permit allows for extended use of time restricted -three hour parking spaces. Issuance of this permit doesn not allow for parking
in areas with yellow painted curbing, ADA accessible spaces, fire lanes, or any location deemed unsafe or unsuitable by the Tragic
Engineer or Police Department,
1,, The City will not be responsible for reserving spaces for your use. You may place signs on the sidewalk (maintaining a minimum
of 44" clear travel area for pedestrians) up to 72 hours in advance of the lime you will be using the parking spaces, noting the date
and times the spots will be in use. In addition, the City will not be responsible for enforcement or removal ofvehicles orfor any
costs related thereto.
2. You may place cones to reserve the spots any time after 12: 01 a.m„ on the day you will be using the spaces.
3. You or your agent are not authorised to tow vehicles that encroach upon the reserved parking spaces.
4. The maximum allowable on -street parking use shall be eight hours. The hours ofuse may be between 6:00 a,m, and10:00p.m.
5. A maximum of three parking spaces (sixty lineal feel) may be reserved.
