1. The proposed new deli area has been removed. The store will retain its exiting Service Deli equipment.
This includes the sinks and hood equipment.
a. The exiting sprinkler system is being tested to meet current requirements
b. A note to upgrade the existing fire alarm system has been added tp sheet A72.0
2. Door #6 has been revised to reflect a TxT swing gate with lever hardware
3. Sheet A-2.0 now reflects locations for fire extinguishers.
4. Sheet A-3.0 now reflects verbiage for building ID
5. The proposed canopy to cover the Garden area will be under a separate permit.
6. Sheet A-1.0 reflects new pavement markings "NO PARKING FIRELANE" adjacent to the building and
street side curbing.
7. Sheet A-0.0 reflects a note to update the existing fire department connection with a 4" Storz adapter
with 30 deg downturn and new signage per NFPA 13.
8. The Fire Marshals contact information has been added to Sheet A-0.0
Public Works — Steve Fisher
The refuse area will be located to the west side of the building along with the lower tenants. The landlord
already has accommodations for all of the tenants in the building to use this
Wastewater Pretreatment — Les Kestrel
1 - The meat department will be removed. The existing Service Deli and prep will remain.
2. Yes there will be food items for public consumption made items made in the new remodel. A submittal
to the Snohomish Health Dept will be made.
3. The existing Service Deli will remain the same as it did. The pots and pans will be washed in the
existing 3 comp sink.
4. The packaged meat will be brought in from the tenants other stores ready for sale. There will be no
"meat prep" associated with this store
5. The existing grease interceptor will remain
Planning — Jen Machuga
1. Please see completed Critical Areas checklist attached.
2. The new wrought iron fence has been revised to 6' in height.
3. The new covered structure for the garden area will be under a separate permit
4. Operations consistent to a plant nursery will be conducted exterior of the store.
5. 1 assume that the Design Review requirement will go along with the separate submittal of the garden
cover.
Building — Leif Bjorback
1 . A submittal to the Snohomish County Health has been made simultaneously with this resubmittal.
2. The building will have improvements in regards to ADA accessibility. A new ADA rest room as well as
all door hardware will be updated to lever actuated. The parking has been revised to provide a pair of
h.c. stalls including one "van" stall.
3. Please see completed Special Inspection form attached
4. Revised occupant calculations are shown on sheet A-1.0
5. The occupancy now shown for the exterior garden area is under 49, allowing one exit.
6. Door 4 shall swing out towards the exterior in case of an emergency. Notes have been added to sheet
A-3.0 for horiz sliding doors.
7. Shelving locations and heights are shown on sheet A-2.1 as well as a factory anchoring detail for all
shelving product between the heights of 6-9" and 8'-0".
8. The garden structure will be provided under a separate permit. The provider has not been selected at
this time.
9. The action for door 6 has been corrected to reflect a swinging type door for egress
10. P-lam wainscot has been added to the wall finish for the new rest room #107.
11. All sections have been revised so the wall kickers do not exceed 8'-0"
12. Please see attached Structural Engineers response regarding the existing floor condition.
13. The canopy has been removed from the scope of the project
