Questions regarding proposed new single construction residence at 182. Andover St. Edmonds
WA
1. Are there any non-standard fire department requirements.
2. Included in submitted paper work is historical city documents regarding the original
short plat requirements with a signed and dated letter by the city representative that
those requirements have been satisfied. We are working on the premise that there are
no other requirements to be met for this single family parcel including the access road.
3. As per recent city discussions with the engineering department regarding drainage on
this lot: Are there any drainage issues that would impact the lot? A small portion from
the access road drains onto the subject property. There is no sheet flow or standing
water, this appears to be insignificant.
4. Is the proposed lot considered a flag lot with side setbacks on all sides?

RE: S-18-72 Subdivision for
Charlotte Miller
Dear Mr. Schulstad:
As Mrs. Miller's representitive, you should be aware that the require-
ments placed on this subdivision have never been completed. The require-
ments were the filing of a 25 foot access and utilities easement and
18 feet of paving on the street.
If the requirements are not met, the subdivision is not legal and will
be declared invalid. This places the present property owners in a very
poor position as we cannot issue building permits for illegally sub-
divided lots.
I believe that you accepted a certain amount of responsibility as Mrs.
Miller's representative to see that the subdivision was properly carried
out. I would appreciate receiving a copy of the necessary easement
within two weeks of the date of this letter as well as some evidence
of a committment to improve the street.
Sale of illegally subdivided property is subject to severe penalties
under the provisions of our Subdivision Code. I would appreciate it
if you attend to this matter promptly.
Very truly yours,
Kay L. Shoudy
