With this letter, we will respond to the comment we received from the Building Division -
City of Edmonds. Our responses are provided in italics.
Building Division:
1. The 2x10 PT joists 16" OC, with a 13' span and 2' cantilever are over spanned
for the anticipated loads. Please take into account a minimum of 1OPSF "dead
load" and 60PSF "live load" when sizing your framing members. Please address
and change on the plan.
The clouded area on the plan set indicates that we have changed the 2x10
PT floor system to a double 2x10 floor system to account for the span.
