Response: On Sheet 1, the driveway is now shown as a circular type driveway. The driveway slopes away from the house downward to the street. 7) The west driveway will have to be brought up to compliance with City ofEdmonds 2017 code. The driveway access is to be 24-feet in width. Gravel may be added on the side of the driveway up to the property line. Existing gravel in the City right-of-way to the west of the proposed driveway will need to he replaced with landscaping. Response: Mr. Cook desires to have a circular type driveway and removing the gravel from apron area to the west of the existing driveway would limit vehicular ingress and egress into the west driveway. In lieu of removing gravel to the west, the plans instead depict removing gravel in the ROW between the two driveway gravel aprons and replacing with landscaping. 8) Add a note to the plans that allfinal restoration shall be complete by the contractor not the City of Edmonds. Response: Applicable note has been added to the area to be converted from gravel to landscaping in the right-of-way shoulder area. DRAINAGE REPORT. Response: The Drainage Report has been revised in it's entirety to address MR's # 145 for the project. Previously only MR#2 was addressed. However, with the addition of the circular driveway the project proposes more than 2,000 sf and less than 5,000 square feet of impervious. Sincerely, Donna L. Breske, P.E.
