CITY OF EDMONDS
• All rotten sill plates will be replaced with new pressure treated incised 2x4
lumber. New concrete anchors will be drilled through sill plate into foundation.
• Several wall studs have rotten bottoms. These studs will be replaced with new
studs then nailed to top plate and sill plate as well as new screws through the
drywall. Studs will maintain 16in centers.
e The 4ft wall on the south end of the building that faces west has rotten framing
members. Outside comer post will be replaced with doubled 2x4 to original
construction. Inside corner post will also be replaced with doubled 2x4. Both
posts will run from sill plate to roof top plate approx. 203 in. Header 4x8 beam
will be installed below fire door to mount 4ft by 4ft deck and stairs to per
original plans. Headers will have standard king and jack stud support system.
NiVire door will be installed.
R-JA 2x4 wali-insulation will be installed in all -bays.
