RE: Correction Letter for Hung Mobile
Dear Staff,
This letter is intended to summarize the changes made to the engineering package submitted
for the initial permit review for this project. This letter addresses comments from the
Engineering Division which were provided via email. I have tried to format this letter to match
the comment letter for easier understanding.
General
The applicant will provide the Side Sewer Permit Application form at the time of resubmittal.
2) It is understood that additional comments may be produced after the next review.
SWPPP and Grading Plan
3) The plan has been renamed to SWPP and Demolition Plan.
4) The notes that reference the new home have been removed from the SWPPP and
Demolition Plan.
5) The painted power/phone line has been added to the SWPPP and Grading Plan.
6) A note has been added to the plans that "all disturbed soils will be amended per BIVIP T5.13.
7) A callout has been added to the SWPPP and Demolition Plan that states that the water line
is to be disconnected at the meter during construction and a hose bib is to be installed with
an AVIB at the meter. A standard detail for the AVB has been added to the plans as wel.l.
Drainage and Utility Plan
8) Proposed grading contours have been shown on the plans.
9) A note has been added to the plans that states a minimum of 10' of horizontal separation is
required between water and sewer lines.
10)A note has been added to the plans that states a minimum of 5' of horizontal separation is
required between water and storm lines. The water and storm lines have been adjusted to
achieve this.
11) The entire sewer run is shown from the sewer main to the house.
12) The pipe size has been labeled. The material of the pipe was not called out, as the sewer
lateral and side sewer will be reused (see comments 16-17).
13) A callout was added to show the 6" sewer clean out, and the note was added to the plans.
14) The note about cutting and capping the side sewer has been removed from the Drainage
and Utility Plan
15) A sewer clean out has been shown within 2' of the house.

16) A note about TV'ing the side sewer was added to the plans.
17) A note about having the City's Public Works Department TV the lateral was added to the
plans.
18) All dry utilities (power, phone) have been shown and called out on the plans. A note has
been added that all dry utilities must have at least 3' of separation from any wet utilities.
19) Footing drains are not proposed for this project.
20) Invert elevations have been provided for all stormwater pipes at the at downspouts and
catch basins.
21) The cross slope arrows on the driveway detail were corrected.
22) A note has been added to the plans that states "all final restoration shall be completed by
the contractor, not the city of Edmonds."
