Scope: Add Dormer, Interior remodel Revision I Please be advised that the building plans for the above referenced project have been disapproved for the purposes of obtaining a building permit. During a review of the plans by the Building Division for compliance with the applicable building codes, it was found that the following information, clarifications, or changes are needed. Reviews by other divisions, such as Planning, Engineering, or Fire, may result in additional comments that require attention beyond the scope of this letter. Items that recur on this list appear in italics. A complete review cannot be performed until the revised plans/documents, including a written response in itemized letter format indicatim! where the 'clouded' or otherwise highlij!hted chani!es can be found on the revised plans, have been submitted to a Permit Coordinator. Resubmittals must be made at the Development Services Department on the 2 nd Floor of City Hall. Permit Center hours are M, T, Th, & F from 8am-4:30pm and from 8:30am-12pm on Wednesdays. This building plan review cannot be completed until we receive the following items: General: 1. RIECONCILED The plan indicates that the rebar must be epoxied into the existing foundation but the type of epoxy was not specified on the plans. Please indicate the type of epoxy on the plans. 2. RIECONCILED Rebar reinforcement is identified on the foundation retaining wall detail but the size and spacing was not. Please add a rebar schedule to the plans. 3. RIECONCILED New isolated piers are indicated on the plans. It does not appear that the reinforcement type, size, or spacing has been identified on the plans. Furthermore; the size of the piers have not been identified. Please indicate on the plans. 4. The submitted plans appear to have elements that have been designed by Reed and Associates per the provided stamped calculations. Any work that has been designed by a Washington State licensed Engineer must be stamped with their respective seal. Please provide two sets of plans that have been stamped the EOR who is licensed with the State of Washington. Please let me know if I can be of any additional assistance.
