Scope: TI For Bakery
The proposed project is approved by Fire, with the following conditions:
1. As stated in the Edmonds Municipal Code 19.25.035, For the purpose of
19.25.035 spaces separated by fire walls, fire barriers, fire partitions and fire
resistance rated horizontal assemblies noted in the IBC Chapter 7 shall not
be considered separate buildings.
2. This building by the above municipal code would be required to install a fire
sprinkler system. In existing buildings that are altered but do not otherwise
require that a fire sprinkler be installed, a fire alarm for the entire building will
be required. All class 1 hoods and gas shutoff’s will be interconnected with
the fire alarm system. Future improvements or occupantcy changes could
require the space or entire building to be retro fitted with a fire sprinkler
system.
3. Occupant load to be determined by building. If greater than 99 persons a fire
sprinkler will be required.
4. Addressing 10 – 12 “ numbering on contrasting background. Suite identification 6
inch numbers above door in a contrqasting color.
5. Knox box key entry to common areas and access to fire alarm panel
