Please provide written responses to each comment, and submit revised plans/documents to a permit coordinator in the Development Services Department. Sheet A1.0 1. This item complete. 2. There are redline notations placed by the City on sheets A1.0, A2.1 and A4.0 within the original approved plan set. Please incorporate those notations in the revised sheets submitted. Make any necessary adjustments to coordinate with the proposed revised design. The response to this item provided some of the redlines that needed to be incorporated into the plan set; however, not all pertinent redlines have been included. Most notably, the redlines stating the requirement for the south exterior wall of the carport on gridline 7 to be 1 hour rated, with a 1 hour rated parapet, and prohibited window openings have not been addressed. Please make any necessary adjustments to all sheets where this wall is shown in order to demonstrate a code compliant design. The most recent submittal depicts the exterior wall as being 3’-7” from the property line on sheet A1.0. a. The wall itself must be 1 hour rated. Please change the wall type on sheet A2.1 accordingly. In addition, provide a listed, tested assembly, complete with details sufficient for review and construction. IBC Table 602 b. Provide a 1 hour rated parapet above the 1 hour wall, including assembly details similar to above. IBC 705.11 c. Openings in this wall are limited as per Table 705.8 based on distance to property line. Please demonstrate on the plans how the windows comply with this table. Sheet A5.1 3. This item complete. General 4. As previously discussed, the City will not be able to approve and issue this revision (or authorize work under the revision) until after recording of the associated lot line adjustment, due to the proximity of the carport to the current property line.
