Resubmittals must be made at the Development Services Department on the 2nd Floor of City Hall. Permit Center hours are M, T, Th, & F from 8am-4:30pm and from 8:30am-12pm on Wednesdays. General: The plans have been submitted with structural calculations prepared by Dan J. Say of SSF Structural Engineers. The plans do not appear to have incorporated any of the provided information as identified by the provided calculations. Please provide plan sheets that incorporate the intended designs, these plan sheets must be stamped by the E.O.R. prior to resubmittal. City of Edmonds PLAN REVIEW COMMENTS BUILDING DIVISION (425) 771-0220 Page 2 of 2 A3.0: 1. Wall section 1 on page A3.0 indicates a 2x8 floor joist wit R38HD batts is intended for the floor system. The elected energy credit of 1A has been indicated on page 01. Energy Credit 1A requires R38 insulation to be installed within the floor system. R38 requires a minimum of a 2x12 joist to retain its full R value. Please clarify how you the R38 insulation will be installed and maintain the R value or elect another energy credit from table R406.2. Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance.
