Resubmittals must be made at the Development Services Department on the 2nd
Floor of City Hall. Permit Center hours are M, T, Th, & F from 8am-4:30pm and from
8:30am-12pm on Wednesdays.
Sheet 7:
1. The adjustable piers shown on sheet 7 appear to bearing on 8” of compacted
crushed rock. Section R403.4.1 of the 2015 International Residential Code
does permit crushed stone footing to be used in seismic category D, which is
the seismic category that most of Western Washington is classified as.
Please propose a footing that will comply with the 2015 I.R.C. and indicate on
the plans.
