Please provide written responses to each comment, and submit revised plans/documents to a permit coordinator in the Development Services Department. Floor Plan 1. Occupant Area. The total floor area of the suite is listed on this sheet as 1380 sf. Area calculations performed during this review suggest the suite is approximately 1140 sf, when based off of the dimensions shown on the plans, and compared with city records of the existing space. (This approach assumes the space that will be newly assigned to the Church Key is properly deducted.) Please re- calculate the actual area of the suite and note the revised value on the plans. 2. The Braille Exit sign must be located on the latch side of the main door. ICC A117.1 section 703.3.11 3. Show on the plans an occupant load sign posted near the main entrance. IBC 1004.3 4. The note at the restroom states “See Detail Spec for Accessibility Dim.” However, there is no such “spec” found in the plans or other submittal documents. It is recommended that a note be added to the effect of “Verify all features in restroom meet current accessibility requirements.” Lease Plan 5. The total floor area of the suite is listed on this sheet as 1380 sf. Please revise this number as needed to coordinate with the adjusted number in item 1 above. 6. Label the existing Fire Wall on this sheet. Electrical Plan 7. The type of construction recognized for the building is V-A, with one hour fire rated construction throughout, including the roof/ceiling assembly. Please note on the plans how the one hour rating will be maintained at the ceiling penetration at the can lights, whether the recessed fixtures will be fire rated by their listing or the rafter bays will be gypsum board lined. If you choose not to use recessed lighting, please revise the plans and the lighting energy form accordingly. 8. Indicate on the plans the lighting controls are to meet the provisions of WSEC C405.2. General 9. The Total Area shown on the lighting energy form “Ltg-Int-Space” is 1300 sf. Please revise the form as needed to coordinate with the adjusted number in item 1 above. 10. Please provide a copy of the Snohomish Health District review letter for your project. This letter may be submitted any time prior to issuance of the permit.
