NOTICE IS I{EREBY GIVEN this f!t"day of Au,¿tl¡Çt ,20 by
Sunset 121 Condominiums HOA ('Grantor"), as required Uycrdntãe, Òity or
pursuant to Edmonds Community Development Code (ECDC) 23.40.270.8, that at least one type
ofcritical areaandlor critical areas buffer has been found through field verification to be present
on the Property described in Exhibit A hereto. This notice is being recorded as a condition of
issuance for a development permit related to the property. As part of the permit application
review process it was determined that the following type(s) of critical area andlor critical area
buffer(s) were found to be present on the property:
Seismic Hazard Area. Pursuant to Chapter 23.80 ECDC, seismic hazard areas are
areas subject to severe risk of damage as a result of earthquake-induced ground
shaking, slope failure, settlement, soil liquefaction, lateral spreading, or surface
faulting. These areas are designated as having a "high" and "moderate to high" risk of
liquefaction as mapped on the Liquefaction Susceptibility Map of Snohomish County
by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources.

The City of Edmonds has adopted ordinances that regulate this type of critical areaandlor
buffer. Prospective purchasers are advised hereby that these regulations may limit the type andlor
location of development or other use that may occur on the property. Please contact the City of
Edmonds for specifìc information about the applicable critical area regulations.
This notice shall remain on the title records of Snohomish County until released by the
City of Edmonds, which shall only occur if the owner is able to submit a critical areas report to
demonstrate to the City of Edmonds that the critical area designation no longer applies to the
Property. Any release of this notice shall be subject to applicable procedural provisions of the
ECDC.
