STAR JUNIPERS CONTAINED IN THE LANDSCAPE PLAN BE INCREASED TO FIVE
GALLON SIZED POTS, AND THAT THIS APPLICATION IS BEING APPROVED FOR TEE
FOLLOWING REASONS: THE PROPOSAL HAS BEEN FOUND TO BE CONSISTENT WITH

Board (ADB) Meeting. Enclosed are an agenda and staff report for the ADB meeting. Pleasefind
your item on the agenda. A representative must be present for each item,'including the Consent
agenda. The Board often moves items off the Consent agenda and onto the regular agenda. If a
representative is not present, the Board will not act on the item. #
Please note the statement at the top of the agenda. You must obtain sign Permits, building
Pe its and any other reguired Permit from the Building Division in addition to obtaining
approval from the ADB. The review §y the ADB Is not a substitute for review of building
permits, and an approval by the ADB does not grant construction approval.

B. Site Location: 21229 84th Avenue West
C. Introduction: An existing medical clinic is proposing to replace an existing
freestanding sign with a new freestanding sign at 21229 84th Avenue West.
D. Staff Analysis:
1. Material: A metal -framed, plastic -faced cabinet sign is proposed.
2. Lighting: No lighting is proposed with the sign.
3. Colors: The applicant is proposing blue and burgundy letters on a
white background with burgundy trim.
4. Sign Location: The sign is proposed to be located in a planting bed
south of the central vehicle drive aisle.
5. Landscaping: The Community Development Code requires an area
of landscaping twice the size of the square footage of the proposed sign. In
this case the applicant is proposing to install a landscape bed which meets
the minimum standards.
6. Sign Area and Sign Height For Canopy Signs:
Proposed Allowed
Sign Area 24 square feet 24 square feet
Sign Height 5.5 feet 14 feet
F. Summary Staff believes that the Board can make the following findings for
approval:
