During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts referred to in these comments can be accessed at

The engineering division is unable to review the second submittal. The proposed short plat has not been
approved and therefore this plan set can only show construction of one new single family residence and
associated utilities.
1)Show only the utilities, driveway, and structures for the construction of the new single family on
the Site plan and Utility plan to show the same information on each plan. The Site Plan and
Utility Plan can be combined into one sheet.
2)When referring to the existing structures, driveways, utilities, please show them as removed or
abandoned.
3)Comments below will be reviewed for accuracy once plans have been resubmitted.

3)Clearly show sewer for new house and existing portions to be removed. Label future stubs accordingly.
Obtain approval from Olympic View Water & Sewer District to reuse existing lateral for your side
sewer.
4)Show all cleanouts with the invert elevations. Cleanouts need to located at all 90 degree bends, property
line, at the home, and every 100’ from the previous cleanout.
5)Show a 6” cleanout at the property line with a 12” cast iron lamphole cover.
6)Show Show the water service line from the meter to the house.
7)Only one driveway access shall be provided to the new residence. Please remove existing driveway.
8)Entire property needs to be shown on the erosion and sediment control plan. Erosion control will also
need to be in place for the demolition of the existing home and removal of the existing driveway.
9)Provide grading calculations. Show bottom and footing elevations for each step, if any, in the
foundation to determine grading quantities. Also show existing and proposed contours.
Storm Water
Our storm water engineer, Don Fiene, is in contact with LSA, your engineer for this project, to discuss
obtaining an easement for city storm system. Storm drainage requirements for this property will be determined
once this has been resolved.
Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised site drawings and associated documents with a written response to
