During re -review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed.
1) Still Need Expand the floor plan to show the existing garage and any other portions of the house
that is connected to this addition.
2) Still Need Expand the section detail to show the roof deck framing (i.e. how it will be sloped 2 . %
minimum, decking material, floor drains, guard rail height, etc.).
3) Still need and Engineer of Record needs to cross reference details in calculations to their
location as well (i.e. retaining wall andfoundation details). Cross reference all details to their
location on the plans (i.e. where does the bearing wall on slab detail apply?).

stamped and signed with calculations by a Washington State Licensed Engineer (see retaining
all handout attached).

8) New: Details in the calculations (i.e.2x8 joists detail A) do not appear to reflect actual
conditions i.e. 2x8 joists shown in the pictures are notched and EOR shows them bearing on the
wall. Will the existing joist be replaced? If not Engineer of Record needs to address actual
conditions.
9) New: Engineer of Record to specify connection ofjoists to existing wall of house (expand detail
A to show this. Pictures appear to show them hanging but off of what? EOR needs to address or
provide fix.
Please redline plans or submit two (2) sets of revised plans/documents (affected sheets only) with a
written response to each of the above items to a Permit Coordinator.
