Below are the items from the letter, with additional comments describing our updates to the plans. GENERAL 1 . A 1 -1: The infiltration location is shown, however is not clear how drainage is to reach the trench; update site plan to show routing of roof drain lines, provide a collection point (ie. drain) for the driveway runoff, and show routing of driveway drain to trench. We have updated the plans to show the drainage around the buildingfrom downspouts and driveway trench drain. a. Provide enough grading information to show that the driveway will drain to the intended collection points. We have added invert elevations to the plans, a trench drain at the end of the driveway, andflow direction arrows to the drain. 2. Update site plan to show the location of the sump basin, clean -out, and inspection port as shown in the detail. We have added the sump basin, clean -out and inspection port to the plans. 3. Update site plan to provide elevation inforination for any drain or cleanout inverts and rim/finished grade, and provide the bottom elevation, the top of trench elevation (top of rock), and the finished grade elevation for the infiltration trench system. We have added elevation information to theplans as requested. 4. Update site plan to show the routing and discharge location of any proposed footing drains. There are no existingfooting drains on the home. None areproposed on the new garage. a. Note that the infiltration trench will retain water up to the top of trench/rock; footing drain may not be placed below this elevation and still discharge to the system. Understood. A separate, lower, infiltration system/drywell for the footing drains is permissible. Understood. Update the TESC component of the site plan to provide protection of the infiltration area during construction of the infiltration area; typically achieved with orange construction fencing to keep construction vehicles from compacting the area. We have added this note to theplans. Update the sizing calculation to provide a more complete reference to the geotechnical information/report; include the firm/company of the author and the date it was prepared. We have added this information to the plans. Add notes and callouts as needed to indicate that all disturbed area must receive amended soils per SWMMWW BMP T5.13 and be full stabilized prior to construction approval. We have added these notes to the plans. The client has also printed out the BMP T5.13 Post -Construction Soil Quality and Depth section 5- 7 and included with the resubmittal. Provide details or specifications sufficient for the contractor to be able to install soils meeting the requirements of T5.13. We have added notes to theplans as well as included the section 5-7 information referenced above to clarify the requirements. Callout or note the method of final stabilization; assumed to sod, but landscape beds finished with mulch would also be stable.
