1) 11/6/09 —Comment was not addressed.
10/21/09 Comment: Retaining wall drainage is required per report & detail from Ricky R. Wang,
Ph.D., P.E., from the Riley Group.
a. Revise site plan to show point of discharge. Please note the report states the drainage pipe may
be daylighted; however, this is not typical near steep slopes or foundations.
b. City planner Kernen Lien has indicated the geotech report shall be revised. Drainage
requirements shall be revised as needed to be consistent with the new report.
2) 11/6/09 — Comment was not addressed.
10/21/09 Comment: Please note what hatching areas indicate in Grading I Plan.
3) 11/6/09 — The City does not have record of the retaining wall being owned and maintained by the
city. Please provide documentation that supports the comment stated in the Report and Detail or
remove the comment from the report.
10/21/09 Comment: Per report & detail from Rick R. Warty, Ph.D., P.E., from the Riley group it is
stated that the south retaining wall is owned and maintained by the City of Edmonds. We are currently

any additional information regarding this issue please submit to the city.
