it is our understanding that the entire new foundation will be
approximately 3 feet deeper than the elevation of the old
foundation. This will yield an approximate effective setback from
the top of the west slope of 18 feet. We recommend that the west
side of the new foundation o achieve a minimum 20 be steped down an additional

The owner must be aware that there are inherent risks to any
development on or near slopes. It -should be further understood that
the stability of slopes cannot be guaranteed. However, it is our
opinion, based on present information available to us, that the risk
from slope movement on this site is the same as that which is
generally considered acceptable by current geotechnical engineering 9,
standards and geologic hazards evaluationse in addition,
construction of this project will not have an adverse effect on the
existing stability of the slope, provided that the existing
vegetation on the slope is not disturbed, no fill soils are pushed
over the bank, or stored beteen notthe

expire on March 10, 1990. If the work is complete and ready for a
final occupancy inspection please contact the building division at
771-3202 to schedule for an appointment.
If the work is not finished and more time is needed to complete the
project; the permit must be renewed prior to the expiration date. A
new application form is required and a renewal fee will be charged.

According to Building Division records, the subject permit has expired
without the required final inspection. The initial permit is valid for
- one year from the date of permit issuance, and a final inspection is
required to grant occupancy.
Please notify the building division within 10 days date of this letter
to schedule for the required final inspection. If your work is not
complete, the permit must be renewed immediately; the renewal fee cost
is $307.00.
Please note, occupying the remodeled area without a final occupancy
inspection is a violation of Section 307 of the Uniform Building Code
and subject to the City civil penalties ordinance.
