RE: Amendment to File No. ADB-2007-32
Port of Edmonds Tree Replacement Project
Dear Mr. Keuss,
The City has received your two requests dated March 17, 2008 and May 29, 2008 to amend the City
approval issued on May 4, 2007 for File No. ADB-2007-32 for replacement of the existing street trees
along Admiral Way as well as the trees located adjacent to the mid-marina street edge, islands, and
building faces.
Your most recently request amendment to the approval for File No. ADB-2007-32 was in your letter
dated May 29, 2008 (attached), which requested for the current planting plan to be amended to plant
Acer rubrum ‘Scarsen’ Scarlet Sentinel Maple along Admiral Way and to plant Acer griseum
approved
Paperbark Maple in the mid-marina islands. Staff has this requested amendment to File No.
ADB-2007-32.
All of the trees shall be planted at the same spacing as shown in the plans by Worthy and Associates
dated November 9, 2006. All trees shall be maintained by the Port. Please refer to the attached
addendum to the City’s Street Tree Plan regarding the requested amendment to the trees to be planted
along Admiral Way for requirements for the street tree plantings.
Sincerely,
Jen Machuga
Planner
