MEMORANDUM
Date:
May 16, 2008
To:
Jen Machuga, Planner
From:
Jeanie McConnell, Engineering Program Manager
Subject:
PLN20080029, ADB Jacobsens Marine
345 Admiral Way
Engineering has reviewed and approved the subject application with the following conditions
to be noted in the staff report.
The civil plans provided note that the Port of Edmonds will provide detention and/or water
quality if required. Chapter 18 Edmonds Community Development Code requires storm
water quality control for any new development or redevelopment with more than 2000 square
feet of new impervious surfacing. In addition, runoff treatment BMPs will be required.
The detention system design & calcs will need to be submitted at the time of building permit
and will be reviewed by the Citys storm water engineer. Alternatively, a request for waiver
from detention system requirements would need to be submitted to the City for review and
approval. Runoff treatment will be required regardless of detention system requirements.
If any of the above conditions exist within the Port of Edmonds site, supporting documents
will need to be submitted indicating the capacity of the existing system and the ability to
accept the additional surface water runoff flows from the subject development.
Thank you.
Thank you.
