Project: Point Edwards Amenities 2 -- Swimming Pool
Project Address: 21 Pine Street
In reviewing the plans for the above noted project, we have the following comments. Please
respond in writing to each item and include the location(s) of the changes to expedite the re-
review. Please resubmit to Marie Harrison, Senior Permit Coordinator.
1.One set of the plans must be wet signed by the architects that prepared the plans.
2.The MSE/rockery design is being reviewed under a separate application, but must be resolved
prior to issuance of this permit since a surcharge from the pool is being placed on the
MSE/rockery.
3.Sheet SP1:
a.Revise pool fence notes to meet the minimum requirements of ECDC
19.00.005.B.7, which are more restrictive see item 5 in enclosed handout.
b.Show location of required RPBA (reduced pressure backflow assembly) to protect
public water supply pool equipment plumbing.
4.Revise plans to clearly show the work to be included under this permit (highlight/bubble and
label). If the pool equipment will be under a separate permit, note on the plans. If it will be
included with this permit, provide mechanical equipment installation instructions/specs as
noted in handouts. All plumbing will be included with this permit. Plumbing that is
currently shown on the plans is incomplete and needs to complete water supply and sewer
systems from tie-in to the existing water supply and sewer supply lines.
