During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts referred to in these comments can be accessed at
our website: www.ci.edmonds.wa.us under City Government / Development Services Department /
Engineering Division then scroll down to Handouts:
1.Please hatch or otherwise identify more clearly the spreader trenches on the site plan. Please number
spreader trench detail on page P3 and reference on site plan. Trench detail should be revised to include
observation well with metal cap and lock and show minimum of 1’ rock below perf. pipe and minimum of
1’ above perf. pipe. (C of E standard detail E5.2) Please define SP – SM as shown on detail.
2.Detention system pipe slope does not fall within .5% - 1% range as required. Please adjust elevations to
meet required fall.
3.Show gas utility connection on site plan. Label side sewer and water lines connecting to house.
4.Show side sewer clean out at property as 6” with 12” cast iron lamphole cover. Identify on plan if side
sewer on private property to be 4” or 6”. Please show 4” clean out at house.
5.Water meter is shown inside the property line. Please move water meter outside of property line into the
right of way.

6.Add note on site plan that CB at corner of Bell St and 7 St will have filter sock for erosion control.
7.Please identify use for rock check dam. This detail is not consistant with field application. Please revise
detail accordingly.
8.Please show on site plan how access road continues through right of way and meets Bell St. including
curb cut.
Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plans/documents to a Development Services Coordinator. Please
