During review of the revised plans for the above noted project, it was found that the following
information, clarifications or changes are needed. Provide written responses to each comment and
where changes can be found on the plans. Please resubmit to Marie Harrison, Permit Coordinator.
1.As discussed in the field with the contractor, 2 sets of complete revised floor plans and reflected
ceiling plans must be submitted and stamped by the Engineer of Record, David E. Lee. Only
partial floor plans were provided. If and architect from Taylor Gregory Butterfield will be the
new Architect of Record, provide revised floor and reflected ceiling plans, as well as a letter
stating that they are now the Architect of Record for the project and that they have reviewed the
approved plans and documents for the project. Revised plans and letter must be stamped/signed
by the new Architect of Record.
2.Show the location and extent of the existing and new corridor, and show that the proposed
corridor will not exceed 50 feet creating a dead end corridor (IBC 1016.3 exception 2).
3.Clearly show that 1-hour corridor walls will be constructed per IBC 1016 and show how they
terminate to comply with IBC 1016.4.
