SUBJECT: Plan Review – Bill the Butcher
Dear Mr. Lafon:
I have reviewed the plan submitted for the tenant improvement work for the Bill the Butcher location on
Main St. It appears that, for the most part, there will be only some minor alteration needed to make the
space comply with the needs of the new tenant. However, the application will need to include some
additional clarification and information in order to approve for construction.
The new accessible rest room does not meet the minimum dimensional requirements.
Specifically the lavatory is not permitted to obstruct the 60-inch by 56-inch clearance area around
the water closet. Please see ICC/ANSI A117.1 section 604.3.
The plan shows two separate toilet room configurations on sheet A-3 and sheet A-4. Please
verify the correct plan in conjunction with the revision noted above.
Is the walk-in cooler a prefabricated unit? If so, please provide the specifications and installation
requirements.
Will you be submitting separate for a mechanical permit for the refrigeration equipment? The
submittal needs to include the specifications of the equipment, location of units (exterior?) and
the efficiencies.
Are there any changes proposed for the HVAC equipment?
We will need to have a copy of the Health Department review approval prior to the issuance of
our permit.
I will review your submittal documents as soon as possible after receipt in order to facilitate permitting.
If you have any questions, you may contact me at (425) 771-0220.
Sincerely,
Leonard Yarberry
