The Fire Department provides the following comments reviewed under 2003
International Codes.
1. Show path of egress to public way from pool deck area and gate. Callout egress
requirements to include exit lighting, exit identification, emergency illumination,
panic hardware, etc…
2. Post occupant load in pool deck area.
3. Sheet L2.0.2 The cooking grill detail does not comply with a permanent outdoor
burning ban by Edmonds City Code 5.22.030. Grill s/b installed over logs and
flame.
4. Sheet A2.4 & A8.4: Provide local LPG gas turn-on/shutoff at cooking area. Sign
instructions for safe gas cooking operations.
5. Call out site, tank-size, details and protections for LPG gas storage.
6. Provide 2A:20B:C portable fire extinguisher within 30’ travel distance from cooking
location.
7. Amenities #1 uses bio guard tablets (trichloro-s-trazinctrione) for swimming pool that
was approved. Will Amenities #2 also use this system?
