Before I can sign off on it I need the following: 1.Critical Areas: There has been no critical areas reconnaissance for this site to determine if there are steep slopes, wetlands, etc. Please apply for a critical areas determination by submitting the following: a.A completed Critical Areas Checklist (see attached); b.The $135 review fee. 2.Fill?: It appears from a photograph of the site that the area by the driveway where the fence is going may have been filled. No fence can be higher than six feet as measured from the top of the fence to the lowest original grade. An exception is if a retaining wall is higher than three feet tall, a fence up to four feet high may be added at the top of the retaining wall for safety. See Edmonds Community Development Code section 17.30.000 for more information. a.Please show what the lowest grade was before any fill was brought in, and show how the fence meets the height requirements given above. Please make all submittals to the Development Services Permit Coordinator, and provide two copies of any revised plans or elevations and three copies of any site plans.
