Discussed with Ms. Valerie Sargent applicant intent to remove auto sprinkler system from proposal. 1.1. Sht A0.0 PROJECT DATA delete “OCCUPANCY SEPARATIONS NOT REQUIRED…” 1.2. Sht A0.0 DEFERRED SUBMITTALS delete “4. FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM” 1.3. Sht A0.0 CODE COMPLIANCE delete “AREA INCREASE DUE TO SPRINKLER” and recalculate. 2. Sheet A0.0 FD recommends installation of automatic fire alarm system. 3. Sheet A2.0 FLOOR PLAN NOTES delete #14, add “No local smoke alarm installation in non-residential occupancy. See separate permit for installation of fire alarm system.” 4. Sheet A2.0 Provide minimum 2A:10B:C rated portable fire extinguishers 1) inside lobby and 2) outside pool deck area (less than 30’ travel from cooking grill). 5. Sheet A2.0 Post approved occupant loads 1) inside lobby and 2) at pool deck. 6. Sheet A2.0 & Sheet SP-1 Provide emergency illumination for POOL DECK. 7. Sheet A2.0 & Sheet SP-1 Pt. Edwards allowed up to 100 lbs of BioGuard 3” or equivalent (Trichloro-s-triazinetrione) solid used with inline chlorinator or brominator equivalent for swimming pool/spa (typical from 85 Pine St). Please clarify any variation from this disinfection system arrangement that will require additional storage approval. 8. Delete sheet A2.2-see separate GAZEBO permit BLD20071164. City of Edmonds Office of Fire Marshal   9. Sheet A3.0 Post address “21” Pine on NORTH elevation/main entry. 10. Sheet L1.0.1, L1.2.1, L2.0.1 & CIVILS: Provide specifications for GRASS PAVERS / GRASS CRETE product at “FIRE PLATFORM”. Product must support 35-ton live load of fire aerial apparatus. 11. CIVILS Sheet 13 of 30 GEOBLOCK note and Sheet L2.0.1 GRASS PAVERS detail 32 provide different information. Reconcile differences for NOTE and DETAILs. 12. Sheet L1.0.1, L1.2.1, L2.0.1 & CIVILS: Provide loop road signage, area signage, and boundary border limits for FIRE PLATFORM installation. FIRE PLATFORM is part of required firefighting operations access for BLDG #7 and #6 TCO. 13. Sheet L.2.0.2 & SP-1: Provide internal or external illuminated EXIT signs and emergency illumination for pool deck gates and egress. 14. Sheet L.2.0.2: Provide gas shutoff at cooking area. Sign instructions for safe gas cooking operations.
