All Handouts referred to in these comments can be accessed at under City Government / Development Services Department / our website: www.ci.edmonds.wa.us Engineering Division then scroll down to Handouts: 1. Please submit a “to scale” site plan with all property lines shown, location of all structures, distance between light posts and property line. See Handout #B57 for all requirements for site plan. 2. Add the existing and proposed impervious surface calculations. (see handout B57) Please remember to include the square footage of the previous driveway and the square footage of the current (new) driveway. 3. Please show new walkway on site plan with dimensions. Don’t forget to add to the impervious surface calculations. 4. City of Edmonds requires all portions of driveway approach that are in the right of way to be constructed of asphalt. 5. Show new fence on site plan. Indicate length and height. Also show distance from property lines and structures. 6. Please complete a Right of Way permit application. A Right of Way permit is required for any work done in the right of way. All work done in the right of way must be performed by a Washington State licensed contractor. Therefore if you are planning to do any further work once you receive your permit, you must hired a licensed contractor. DATE FAXED/E-MAILED 5/28/2009 PAGE ___ OF __ 12 7. Please complete an Encroachment permit application (Handout E#26) for the lights in the right of way. The agreement must be signed and notarized by the owner of the property. Usually there is someone at our reception desk that is a notary. If you decide to use the City’s notary please be sure to call first to make sure one of them is available. An Insurance Certification is also required for an Encroachment permit. Please make sure that you review the example in the handout to ensure you submit the certificate correctly. Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plans/documents to your Development Services Coordinator. Please contact me at 425-771-0220 if you have specific questions regarding these plan corrections.
