During review of the subject submittal, it was found that the following information, corrections, or
clarifications would need to be addressed. All Handouts referred to in these comments can be accessed at
our website: www.ci.edmonds.wa.us under City Government / Development Services Department /
Engineering Division then scroll down to Handouts:
1.How will drainage from the new impervious deck be handled? A couple of options are to drain to the
system used by the existing structure or the deck could be drained to a drywell located at least 10ft from
the structure.
2.Please add to the impervious surface calculations the square footage of the new walk/patio that will not
be covered by the new deck.
3.The expired permit had included the existing driveway and walkway replacement. Was this work
performed? If not, will that work be included in this permit?
Please resubmit 3 copies of the revised plans/documents to a Development Services Coordinator. Please
